Alok currently heads Cisco Investments in India. Cisco is a leading venture investor with over $2B in investments across startups and funds globally. Prior to Cisco, Alok was a VP with Tata Communications and led Managed Services sales, the Industry Solutions business and also headed the marketing function.

In the US, Alok’s worked with BellSouth as a Director, Product Management and with Bain & Co. He started his career with the Tata Administrative Service in India and was an entrepreneur early in his career, co-founding a B2B trading platform.

Alok has a B. Tech. (EE) from IIT, Delhi and an MBA (Honors) from Wharton Business School.
