Manav Garg is the CEO & Founder of Eka Software Solutions, a leader in Commodity Trade and Risk Management(CTRM) Software. An entrepreneur and former commodity trader, Manav is the driving force behind Eka’s innovative product portfolio and is responsible for its global business strategy and growth. Employing his in-depth knowledge of commodity markets and insights into the shortfalls of the technology that prevailed, Manav founded Eka in the year 2004. Since incorporation, Manav has worked towards his vision of creating a world-class Indian Software Product Company which provides One Solution One View for global physical commodity markets.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
An engineer from the National Institute of Technology (NIT, Jalandhar) and an MBA from Indian Institute
of Foreign Trade (IIFT, Delhi), Manav began his international commodity trading career with the G Premjee (GP) group.

Experience as a trader with GP presented Manav with a unique opportunity to nurture his inherent entrepreneurial instinct. He recognized the deficiencies in traditional trading and risk management and
believed that technology enablement is the only solution to enhance the efficiency of this highly volatile
market segment. He spent over 2 years in exhaustive R & D by travelling and meeting industry peers,
understanding customer pain points and requirements before moving forward to building Eka.
